Mindfulness For Joyful Life

What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness- Finding Peace in a Frantic and Crazy World!

Mindfulness is a mental state achieved by entirely focusing one's consciousness on the current moment while evenly noticing and accepting feelings, views, and physiological sensations. Mindfulness is prevalent - a natural element of being human – and has been cultivated and practiced in diverse traditions throughout the world for over 2600 years. We may not always have complete control over our life, but mindfulness allows us to work with both our brains and bodies, teaching us how to live with less stress and more appreciation.

When we are mindful, our behaviors are more likely to represent our wisdom and beliefs rather than being a reflex emotional reaction. It relaxes, clears the mind, and prepares us to respond more effectively to the difficulties we meet, allowing us to engage in life more directly and fully. Mindfulness is available to everyone, and it has the potential to promote individual wellbeing, good relationships, and a loving and aware environment. Mindfulness, we believe, is a profound and unique approach to social transformation and our work as a social innovation venture.

Mindfulness practice has been shown in scientific research to improve a wide range of medical and psychological conditions, as well as to have measurable positive effects on the brain. Mindfulness therapies can improve immune system response, expedite healing, and generate a sense of physical well-being, all of which can directly help mental and physical health. Mindfulness is progressively being integrated into Medicine, Education, and the Workplace due to its numerous advantages.
